By accessing and using Rental Auto, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Rental Auto is a peer-to-peer car rental marketplace founded in Albania that connects vehicle owners (hosts) with renters (customers) across multiple vehicle categories including cars, motorcycles, trucks, RVs, boats, and bicycles.

We facilitate bookings and provide the platform infrastructure, but we are not a party to the rental agreement between hosts and customers.

We provide the platform, customer support, and booking management services. Payment processing between hosts and customers is handled directly between the parties.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time.

To use certain features, you must create an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account.

Email verification is required before you can create booking requests or become a host. You will receive a verification email upon registration.

You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

Guests can browse vehicles without an account, but must register to create bookings.

Bookings are subject to host approval and availability. All booking requests start with a 'pending' status until the host confirms or rejects them.

Email verification is mandatory before creating booking requests. Unverified users will see warning banners and booking forms will be disabled.

Customers must provide accurate booking information including name, email, phone number, age, pickup/dropoff locations, and rental dates.

Hosts can manually create bookings for customers, including guest bookings for users without platform accounts.

Booking status workflow: pending → confirmed → active → completed. Bookings can be cancelled at any stage.

Hosts are responsible for ensuring their vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and accurately described.

Both parties must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

We facilitate the booking process but are not responsible for the condition of vehicles or the conduct of users.

Total price is calculated based on daily rate multiplied by rental days. Hosts set their own pricing.

Payment processing is handled directly between hosts and customers. Rental Auto does not process payments or collect payment information.

Prices are set by hosts and may vary based on demand, season, and other factors.

Total booking price is calculated as: daily rate × number of rental days. Hosts may offer discounts for longer rentals (e.g., 5% for 7+ days, 15% for 30+ days).

Hosts and customers are responsible for arranging payment terms and methods between themselves.

You are responsible for any additional charges (fuel, tolls, damages, cleaning fees, etc.) as specified in the rental agreement between host and customer.

Refunds, if applicable, are subject to the cancellation policy agreed upon between host and customer and applicable laws.

Either party (host or customer) may cancel a booking at any time by updating the booking status to 'cancelled'.

Cancellation policies and refund terms are agreed upon directly between hosts and customers.

Hosts may cancel bookings, but should communicate clearly with customers about cancellation reasons.

Customers may cancel bookings according to the terms agreed with the host.

Refunds, if applicable, are handled directly between hosts and customers according to their agreement.

We reserve the right to cancel bookings in cases of fraud, safety concerns, or violation of terms.

When a booking is cancelled, the booking status is updated to 'cancelled' and both parties are notified.

Rental Auto acts as an intermediary platform and is not responsible for:

• Vehicle condition, safety, or roadworthiness

• Accidents, injuries, or damages during rentals

• Disputes between hosts and customers

• Loss or theft of personal property

• Third-party services or products

Our liability is limited to the amount of fees we have received from you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the platform or violation of these terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for illegal purposes or in violation of any laws

• Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information

• Impersonate others or create fake accounts

• Harass, abuse, or harm other users

• Damage or misuse vehicles

• Circumvent our fees or payment system

• Use automated systems to access the platform without authorization

• Violate intellectual property rights

• Interfere with platform operations or security

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for violation of these terms.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using account settings.

Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time.

Material changes will be notified via email or platform notification.

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
